The Dal Soggio 1P.RSKIT50-2024 RS Kit is an internal rear suspension upgrade developed specifically for compatible 50 mm XACT rear shocks fitted to Husqvarna Enduro and GasGas Enduro motorcycles from 2024 to 2026.
This version is distinct from the earlier RS Kit D50 used on 2019-2023 applications and is designed around the later XACT rear-shock platform.
The RS Kit improves the original shock by replacing its main hydraulic piston with a dedicated Dal Soggio component and combining it with revised shim settings.
Dal Soggio developed the RS system by redesigning both the piston architecture and the associated valving in order to recalculate oil flow through the shock.
The kit includes a CNC-machined 50 mm piston manufactured from ERGAL 7075 T6, featuring 4 oil passages and a hard-anodized surface treatment.
Together with the dedicated shim configuration, this revised hydraulic architecture is designed to provide more effective damping control while retaining the original shock body and overall suspension layout.
The RS Kit is therefore intended for riders who want to improve the hydraulic capability of the standard XACT rear shock without replacing the complete suspension unit.

Application & Compatibility
The 1P.RSKIT50-2024 is designed for compatible 50 mm XACT rear shocks fitted to:
- Husqvarna Enduro – 2024 to 2026
- GasGas Enduro – 2024 to 2026
This product should not be confused with 1P.RSKIT50-1923, which is the earlier D50 version used on:
- Husqvarna Enduro 2019-2023
- GasGas Enduro 2021-2023
The actual rear-shock configuration should always be verified before ordering, particularly where the suspension has previously been replaced or internally modified.
How the RS Kit Works
The RS Kit changes the hydraulic characteristics of the rear shock by combining:
- a redesigned Dal Soggio main piston;
- dedicated oil passages;
- revised shim settings.
During shock movement, suspension fluid is forced through the piston ports and shim stacks.
The relationship between piston geometry and shim flex determines the hydraulic resistance generated during compression and rebound.
By redesigning these elements together, Dal Soggio recalculates the oil-flow characteristics of the original shock and creates a more purpose-developed damping system.
50 mm CNC-Machined Piston
The main component of the kit is the 50 mm RS piston.
It is manufactured by CNC machining from ERGAL 7075 T6 and features 4 oil passages.
These passages manage suspension-fluid flow through the piston and work together with the shim stacks to control damping forces.
The piston receives a hard-anodized surface treatment, providing increased surface durability for continuous hydraulic operation.
Revised Shim Settings
The RS Kit is not simply a replacement piston.
Dal Soggio combines the new piston with dedicated shim settings matched to the revised oil-flow characteristics.
This allows the piston and valving to function as a complete hydraulic package rather than as independent components.
The intended result is improved management of:
- compression damping;
- rebound damping;
- suspension movement at different shaft speeds;
- hydraulic consistency through the stroke;
- overall rear-shock control.
XACT-Specific Version
The 1P.RSKIT50-2024 is specifically associated with the later XACT rear-shock platform used on Husqvarna and GasGas Enduro applications from 2024 to 2026.
This makes it technically distinct from the previous RS Kit D50 used through model year 2023.
For this reason, the two versions should not be considered interchangeable solely because both use a nominal 50 mm piston diameter.
Installation Note
Installation requires complete servicing of the rear shock, removal of the original piston, installation of the Dal Soggio RS piston and dedicated shim configuration, correct refilling, hydraulic bleeding, and final setup.
