The Dal Soggio 1P.SPH.WPXPLOR3.0 SPHERE 3.0 is a complete sealed and pressurized hydraulic cartridge developed specifically for compatible WP Xplor front forks used on KTM, Husqvarna, and GasGas Enduro motorcycles from 2017 to 2023.

SPHERE 3.0 represents the latest evolution of Dal Soggio’s hydraulic cartridge platform, developed through dyno testing and on-track development to improve fork sensitivity, hydraulic precision, linearity, and rider feedback.

One of the principal upgrades is the redesigned bladder system. Dal Soggio describes the new bladder as thinner and stronger than the previous version, improving cartridge sensitivity and providing greater precision during hydraulic bleeding.

The compression base valve has also been redesigned to provide separate High-Speed Compression and Low-Speed Compression settings, allowing the two damping ranges to be adjusted independently according to terrain, riding style, and suspension setup.

SPHERE 3.0 uses a larger 36 mm compression piston, replacing the previous 28 mm design. According to Dal Soggio, the increased piston diameter significantly improves the linearity of the complete front fork.

The cartridge also introduces Direct Flow Technology. With this architecture, the piston receives oil directly rather than routing it through Z-shaped passages, reducing stress within the cartridge and creating a more direct hydraulic flow path.

The SPHERE system uses Dal Soggio CUBE Fork Oil 5W and is intended as a comprehensive performance upgrade for riders seeking greater hydraulic control from the original WP Xplor fork.

The exact motorcycle fitment depends on the presence of the corresponding WP Xplor fork.

Dal Soggio treats the later GasGas Xplor application separately under 1P.SPH.WPXPLOR-GG3.0, so GasGas model years from 2024 onward should not be considered part of this SKU.

SPHERE 3.0 Bladder System

The SPHERE cartridge uses a pressurized bladder as part of its internal hydraulic pressure-management system.

For the 3.0 generation, Dal Soggio redesigned the bladder to make it thinner and stronger.

SPHERE 3.0 increases the compression piston diameter from 28 mm to 36 mm.

According to Dal Soggio, this larger piston significantly increases the linearity of the complete front fork.

The increased piston area works together with the redesigned compression valve and Direct Flow system as part of the complete SPHERE 3.0 hydraulic architecture.

Direct Flow Technology

The Direct Flow Technology introduced on SPHERE 3.0 changes the way suspension oil reaches the damping piston.

Instead of passing through Z-shaped internal passages, oil reaches the piston directly.

This more direct hydraulic path is designed to:

WP Xplor Application

Recommended Oil

Dal Soggio specifies CUBE Fork Oil 5W inside SPHERE cartridges.

Correct suspension fluid is important for consistent damping response, accurate bleeding, lubrication, and repeatable hydraulic performance.

Installation Note

SPHERE 3.0 requires installation inside the original WP Xplor fork, correct hydraulic bleeding, spring and preload setup, oil-level adjustment, and final damping calibration.

Unlike the later WP XACT CC version, Dal Soggio does not identify this WP Xplor cartridge as a Quick Install application.

Installation and final setup by a qualified suspension technician or Dal Soggio specialist are therefore recommended.
